Hi Lisa. John here entering blog for the day. We have had our coldest morning of the trip so far. We camped halfway up the side of the mountain, as our destination today of Ama Dablam base camp was too far to climb in one day. Even though the sun came out the wind got up and made sure we all are wearing our layers of clothing. The ascent to A M base camp was a slow and steady affair as it took us up to 4800 mts. Wow. It’s a bit daunting but everyone is holding up well. To get so close to such a huge mountain is one of those priceless moments that money cant buy. Big hello to all family and friends out there. Rest assured the sherpas are looking after us well. Tough bunch of people who are always happy. Bye for now John.
